At each Spring (Vernal) Equinox I build a sculpture from found wood which is fired to celebrate the transition between Winter and Spring.
It is also a celebration of the element of fire. As the burning progresses the power and the beauty of this living being is revealed.
Those who come to the firing are encouraged to place a message or totem on the sculpture. This is an opportunity to clear all negative thoughts and ideas through the positive cleansing of the fire.

We have to develop a deeper understanding and respect of each of the elements if we are to make a positive contribution to the healing of the Earth.
