My fascination with trees led to me recording them on car, bus and rail journeys.  As you are moving at speed all you can record are simple, abstract notations.  This did become an obsession leading to endless drawings. Many of these were developed to create artworks in a variety of media including wood and stone.

Now I use a digital camera to record trees.  These include images of powerful trees within our landscapes which will enable others to connect with them.  The images are also used on this site, my newsletters and notes to my fellow Tree Guardians.

The drawings have taken on another dimension.  They are now records of the information the trees have revealed to me through visions and dowsing.  My challenge is then to create artworks which interpret these insights.
